These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Arjook mobile app and services. By creating an account or using Arjook, you agree to these Terms.

About these Terms

These Terms form an agreement between you and Arjook. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Arjook is offered for properties in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

What Arjook does

Arjook is a platform that connects you with independent maintenance professionals. We help you request, schedule, and pay for services. The work itself is carried out by the assigned provider.

The consultancy fee

When you book, you pay a flat consultancy fee, currently a temporary promotional rate of BHD 5, covering the provider's visit, inspection, and the labour to assess your issue. It is charged at booking and is non-refundable once a provider has been assigned or dispatched, except where required by law.

Materials and final cost

If your job needs materials, the provider assesses what is required and shares an estimate after the visit. You approve the materials before work proceeds, and you pay only for what is actually used. Prices depend on the market, and we aim to keep them fair.

Bookings, visits, and cancellations

Provide accurate details and make sure someone can give the provider access at the agreed time. Cancel or reschedule as early as possible in the app. Repeated missed visits may affect your ability to book.

Payments and wallet

Payments come from your Arjook wallet, which you top up in the app. Balances pay for Arjook services and have no cash value outside the app. Refunds, where they apply, return to your wallet.

Rewards points

Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or withdrawn.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, use Arjook lawfully, treat providers with respect, and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Providers

Providers are independent professionals, not employees of Arjook. We screen providers and care about quality, but Arjook arranges the service and is not the party physically performing the work.

Disclaimers

Arjook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the app is always uninterrupted or error-free, and make no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arjook is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to cover Arjook against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the app or breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction over disputes.

Changes to these Terms

We may update them and will post the new version in the app with an updated date. Continued use means you accept the changes.

Ending your use

You may stop using Arjook at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or misuse the service.
